The Divine Sister is a wildly witty homage to every Hollywood film about nuns β from βThe Song of Bernadetteβ and βThe Bells of St. Maryβsβ to βThe Singing Nunβ and βThe Sound of Musicβ β this show promises outrageous laughs and pure theatrical bliss!
The story follows St. Veronicaβs indomitable Mother Superior, played by the incomparable Busch (Die Mommie Die, Psycho Beach Party, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom), leads us on a madcap trip through Tinseltownβs most gloriously over-the-top religiosity. Itβs miraculous. Itβs zany. Itβs one night only!
