Get ready to spring into our Season of Laughter, Legends, and Thrills at the upcoming Spotlight Gala, taking place on Saturday, May 31, 2025. It’s a night that promises elegance, entertainment, and heartfelt celebration as we honor a true legend of our community.
Join us in recognizing the remarkable contributions of our board president, the legendary Emily Soell! Emily's dedication, leadership, and passion have been pivotal in guiding The Sharon Playhouse through an exciting period of growth and transformation. It’s time to raise our glasses and show our gratitude for her unwavering commitment.
The evening will be filled with enchanting performances, delectable dining, and unforgettable moments shared with friends, old and new. Your presence will make this Gala truly shine!
Special guests for the evening include music and Playhouse legend, Wanda Houston, who will perform, along with Avery Hope, who will play Annie in the Playhouse’s upcoming production of Annie, and Landry Champlin, recently featured on American Idol and returning as Lily St. Regis in Annie. The Gala will also feature talented local singers and dancers, including Will Nash Broyles, Tricia DeSario, Michele Lemon, Michael Siktberg, Sasha Spitz, and Jonathan Zalaski. Krystyna Resavy directs and choreographs the event and Eric Thomas Johnson serves as music director. Local music legend Ram Miles and jazz guitarist and vocalist Joe Finn will provide live music during the cocktail hour on the Patio – the perfect soundtrack for the evening!
