For actors at any level of experience, this is a three week introduction to the process of preparing and rehearsing a scripted text. In this class, we will explore how to break down a scene organically, and progress beat to beat through the given circumstances while maintaining a sense of play. We will be working on material from published contemporary plays (participants are also given the option to work on scenes from Shakespeare, if they prefer). Scenes and scene partners will be assigned in advance.

This class will be live in the Bok Gallery (in-person maximum is 12 students.)
