SAFETY POLICIES

Below is a list of safety policies for indoor performances at The Playhouse or Bok Gallery. We will regularly review the current situation and any updated guidance from the CDC and the State of Connecticut to determine if changes to our safety policies are necessary. All changes to our safety policies will be communicated on our website and in emails sent prior to your performance.

  • All audience members are required to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination or show proof of a negative COVID test.

    • Acceptable tests: negative COVID-19 antigen test (rapid test) within 6 hours of curtain time or negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of curtain time.

  • Everyone entering the theatre must wear a mask at all times unless drinking in the bar or outdoor areas.

  • We are seating at full capacity. There will not be spacing between parties.

  • All The Playhouse staff have been vaccinated. In addition, all volunteers and visiting artists are required to provide proof of vaccination.

VACCINATION POLICY

Patrons must be Fully Vaccinated (as defined below) with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine or provide results of a negative COVID-19 test in order to attend events at The Playhouse or Bok Gallery.  Proof of vaccination or negative test results and a valid ticket (Electronic or Paper) for the performance will be required at the time of entry. Entry will be denied to patrons who do not provide the documentation as required.

PROOF OF VACCINATION

The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination:

  • A photo of the attendee’s vaccination card as a separate document

  • A photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device

  • Documentation of full vaccination from a healthcare provider

  • at least 14 days after their second dose of an FDA or WHO approved two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or

  • at least 14 days after their single dose of an FDA or WHO approved single dose COVID-19 vaccine.

Patrons who choose not to wear a mask will be asked to leave the building.
